Inhalt: Der Maler Paul Stuart (Lon Chaney jr.) steht zwischen zwei Frauen, seiner gut situierten und liebevollen Verlobten Heather (Jean Parker) und seinem gutaussehenden, aber eifersüchtigen Modell Tanya (Aquanetta) - allein, er nimmt es als Einziger nicht wahr, im Gegensatz zur Familie seiner Verlobten oder seinem Freund Dr.Bittaker (Paul Kelly), der selbst in Tanya verliebt ist. Schlußendlich verursacht Tanya im Atelier Pauls ein Durcheinander, das dazu führt, daß er sich die Augen mit Säure wäscht und so erblindet. Da Paul auf der Transplantationsliste für eine Netzhaut ganz unten steht, löst er die Verlobung auf und wendet sich Tanya zu, weil er glaubt, nicht mehr standesgemäß für Heather zu sein, doch Heathers Vater macht ihm für den Fall seines Todes seine Augen als mögliches Transplantat zum Geschenk.
Doch just als er sich dafür bedanken will, findet ihn Heather bei sich daheim über der Leiche ihres Vaters - doch wer ist der Mörder wirklich?
